Terms of business

Terms for the paid PDF report. Scanning a shop on this site is free and needs no agreement at all.

In force from 1 September 2026

1. Who is selling

The seller is Lidmila Maršálková, business ID (IČO) 05684447, registered office Jindice 115, 285 04 Rašovice, Czech Republic, entered in the Czech trade register. Not registered for VAT.

Contact e-mail: hello@codewhiskers.app. We usually reply within two working days.

2. What is being sold

What you buy is a report on one specific shop as a PDF: the score, every finding, quotations from the shop's own pages, data from public registers, and a list of what could not be verified. It is digital content and is not supplied on a physical medium.

Scanning a shop on this site is free and will stay free. The report holds the same result as a dated document, which you can attach to a payment dispute with your bank or to a complaint to a consumer authority.

The report reflects what was publicly available on the shop's site at the moment of the scan. It is not an expert opinion or legal advice, and it does not guarantee that buying from that shop will turn out well.

3. Price and payment

The report costs 55 CZK. The seller is not VAT-registered, so that price is final and nothing is added to it. Your card is charged in Czech koruna; if your card is held in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate.

Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, by card or whichever other methods Stripe offers at checkout. Your card details never reach this site; the seller learns only that a payment went through, which shop the report was bought for, and the buyer's e-mail address.

4. Contract and delivery

The contract is concluded the moment payment is made. The report is delivered immediately afterwards: a download link appears on screen and the same link is sent to the e-mail address given at checkout.

The download link keeps working for as long as you keep it. No account is created and none is needed.

5. Withdrawal

The report is digital content delivered immediately on payment. Before paying, the buyer therefore agrees to immediate delivery and acknowledges that this waives the 14-day right of withdrawal, under section 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code, which implements the EU consumer rights directive. Without that agreement the payment does not start and no report is delivered.

This applies only to the paid report. Using the site for free creates no contract at all.

6. Complaints

If the report fails to generate, never arrives, or arrives damaged, write to hello@codewhiskers.app. We will send it again, and where delivery failed on our side we refund in full.

Complaints are settled within 30 days of being raised at the latest. Refunds go back the way the payment came.

Disagreeing with what the report says — the score, or an individual finding — is not a defect in what was delivered. The method is set out in the legal notice, and every finding carries a quotation from the shop's own site so that it can be checked. If you think we got something wrong, write to us. The scanner is still learning, and a finding that does not hold up gets corrected.

7. Out-of-court dispute resolution

The body competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, coi.gov.cz. Buyers in the EU can also use the European online dispute resolution platform.

Supervision of consumer-protection obligations is exercised by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority.

8. Personal data

We receive your e-mail address from Stripe, use it to send the report and to answer a complaint if there is one, and do not store it. We keep no record of who asked about which shop. The detail is in the legal notice.

9. Final provisions

Anything these terms do not cover is governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on consumer protection. Mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in are not affected by this.

These terms apply as in force on the day the contract is concluded. A later change does not reach orders already placed.
